Description
Desi Grand has been my home for the last 3 years and in the time has transformed from a cargo van to a apartment on wheels. It has a full functioning kitchen with a stove top and oven (lpg). A large fridge/freezer and sink that has both normal and filtered water feeds. There is plenty of space with drawers and cupboards and all the utensils, cups, pans you’ll need.
The bed is a drop down floating bed that is a full memory foam (Koala) double mattress. The floating part means there is lots of space under the bed even with the bed down. And during the day it’s super easy to move around when it’s away.
Towards the back of the cabin is a fully functioning full height shower enclosed in a aluminium frame. It has hot and cold water feeds. The hot water is generated from the engine as long as the engine has been on then the hot water keep coming. On the right hand side there is a wardrobe and the gas bottle.
The camper is solar powered with enough battery to last 10 days without sun. It also charges from driving the vehicle.
There are two sun roofs in the living area which let plenty of light and fresh air in. They have reflective sun covers and mossy nets. There are no windows in the living area otherwise which make street camping private and leaves you with a undisturbed nights sleep.
