We traveled as a family of three to Scotland via the Lake District and had a great time. Everything worked and our son loved the adventure of it all. David is engaging, attentive and personable; he set aside time to give us a thorough explanation of the van and answered all our questions on the day of the hire. The van was a pleasure to drive - easy handling on both motorways and roads, and it has good A/C. The interior is smart and newly refurbished with robust surfaces that don't damage easily and are easy to clean. Its a compact van, so I would advise tidying as you go and traveling light, or taking his offer of the 'awning' (actually its a tent). If you're going as a family then spend a bit of time getting to know what goes where - it will help with the packing and unpacking when you get to your site. It has lots of small compartments and a good fridge, gas cooker and sink, which all work well. Three people was just nice - any more and you will need the additional 'awning'. The size of the van and solar panel are great for adventures as it means you can roam around a bit and have the option to pitch up at remote camping sites in beautiful locations, which is exactly what we manged to do. Not much more to say...except...thanks and we will be back :-)
