Miss Blue is a VW T2 Bay Window.
She was manufactured in 1976 and was registered in 1977. She’s a beautiful example of a van that was initially exported to the USA (yes she’s also a lefthand drive) she spent 35 years enjoying perfect weather conditions and a laid back beach lifestyle. She was imported to the U.K in 2016.
She’s a beautiful character and you really feel like you’re driving a van from 1977!!!
So pretty inside with the last owner being a carpenter, he lovingly restored the original cabinets and lined the roof with curved wood and a secret sky!!!
She comes with a rock and roll bed which sleeps 2 and the pop up roof also provides an extra bed for 2 people, either 2 adults who really like each other or it’s perfect for 2 children to sleep in. It’s an adventure climbing up there into your own little den.
We can provide all bedding, pillows, duvets & blankets for a cosy nights sleep. Just ask!
She’s kitted out for cooking (electric cooker) and a BBQ. With all utensils, crockery and cutlery for 4 people.
Camping chairs and tables, parasol and sun/ shade canopy.
She doesn’t have a sink installed or water connected but it’s not necessary to have a tap to have water!!! You just need to carry your drinking water and any extra for washing/cooking/water fights.
She gives you the perfect cross over of the camping/glamping experience and she’s super cosy, especially at night with the fairy lights on and the candles lit.
We’re super flexible and open to requests for added extras so just ask!
She’s our pride and joy and we feel like we need to share her with others who also want to have a fantastic experience and make memories in a little piece of motor history. She really does makes dreams come true.
Miss Blue can’t wait to meet you : )

Always lock all doors when you leave.
When driving we ask that you adhere to all road safety rules and speed limits.
When camping that you do not damage or destroy any of Miss Blue’s equipment or bodywork through negligent behaviour.

Miss Blue was the accommodation of choice for my 70 year old Mum, whilst we camped alongside in our Caravan. She was initially a bit nervous about the prospect of camping in her own unit but could not have been happier when she saw Miss Blue, and she absolutely loved her weekend!
The twinkly lights, cosy interior and wonderful retro fittings made for a lovely experience. The interior of Miss Blue is really well designed and Amy has thought of everything in terms of inventory. Everything was perfectly packed and immaculately clean inside and out.
If you have never driven a VW Van from the 70's you might find the drive a bit different from a modern car! But this was all part of the experience and it was great to be waved at by fellow VW Campervan's along the journey!
Amy was a brilliant owner from start to finish. Organised, efficient, and great with communication. She answered all of our questions promptly, and when we met her to collect Miss Blue we all felt really comfortable and well informed about all aspects of the 'Van and the rental. We would definitely recommend a stay in Miss Blue. Thanks again Amy!
